Grand Terrace, CA: Suspect arrested for arson fire.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, at approximately 7:30pm PT on Tuesday, March 17th, 2015, deputies responded to the Thai Kitchen located on the 22400 block of Barton Road in Grand Terrace, California following the report of an ex-employee, 37 year old Oscar Ramos of Colton, California, causing a disturbance.

Upon deputies arrival, Oscar Ramos was inside the kitchen.

Oscar Ramos started a fire by turning on the burners to the stove and throwing grease onto the burners.

Oscar Ramos refused to come out of the burning kitchen and began to throw items at deputies.

Deputies used force against Oscar Ramos and carried him out of the kitchen, which was fully engulfed in flames.

Oscar Ramos was arrested and transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for burns to his body.

Upon his release from Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, Oscar Ramos will will transported and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for arson.
