Deputies were involved in a brief motorcycle pursuit on Sunday, March 29 at approximately 9:45 P.M.
Per scanner traffic, a deputy attempted to perform a traffic stop on a motorcycle with no license plates on Main Street east of Escondido Avenue in Hesperia.
The motorcycle initially yielded to the officers commands but a brief moment later sped off heading eastbound on Main Street.
The motorcycle is described as white in color and possibly a Yamaha or Suzuki sport bike. The rider is described as a black male adult, approximately 200 lbs., wearing a white helmet and a blue denim jean jacket.
As the pursuit reached the area of E Avenue and Sultana Street deputies lost site of the motorcycle. A sheriff’s helicopter was requested to assist with aerial support. After a search of the area the suspect or motorcycle were not located.
