Mountain Communities – On Saturday, April 25 — Rebuilding Day — eight homes will get makeovers! Rebuilding Together Mountain Communities selected the eight homes and trade and non-trade volunteers will converge on the homes bright and early Saturday to make necessary repairs and improvements.
Everyone gathers at the Mountain Communities Senior/Community Center at 675 Grandview Road in Twin Peaks for a continental breakfast before heading out to help their neighbors!

House sponsors this year are California Bank & Trust, St. Richard’s Episcopal Church, Mountain Sunrise Rotary (in memory of Dominic and Marie DiCarlo), Lake Arrowhead Rotary, Lake Arrowhead Community Presbyterian Church, Serenity Lodge, Lake Arrowhead Hobie Fleet 434, and Union Bank.
Their $1,500 sponsorships allows hundreds of volunteers to apply paint, make roof repairs, clean yards, build rails and decks and complete other repairs requested by the homeowners.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
After Rebuilding Day is over, Mountain Sunrise Rotary will host a free spaghetti dinner for volunteers and homeowners at the Mountain Communities Senior Center in Twin Peaks.
Additional volunteers are always needed. A volunteer form is available on line at REBUILDING TOGETHER.
Rebuilding Together Mountain Communities also gladly accepts cash donations either by mail or through PayPal on its website.
