REDLANDS >> A three-vehicle crash on the 10 Freeway sent two people to the hospital and stalled traffic late Thursday night, authorities said.
Two vehicles and a big rig collided about 9 p.m., temporarily closing the eastbound lanes between Sixth Street and University Avenue, according to Carl Baker, spokesman for the Redlands Fire Department.
One car went off the side of the freeway and caught fire, he said. The other landed on its roof in the center divider.
All of the passengers had exited their vehicles by the time firefighters arrived, Baker said. Redlands firefighters extinguished the car fire and tended to the injured.
