Spring rainfall sweeping across Southern California. Rain hits Inland Empire with more on the way

Things are expected to clear by Friday afternoon and temperatures are expected to lift back up just in time for Mother's Day weekend. Friday's highs are expected to be in the 60s for Los Angeles and Orange counties with 60 percent chance of rain. The Inland Empire will see highs in the low-60s with a chance of thunderstorms and even some hail. The beaches will also see highs in the low-60s with 50 percent chance of rain. The mountains will be cold with highs in the upper-30s with a chance of thunderstorms and snow in the 6,000-foot level. The High Desert communities will see highs in the low 60s with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.
