BLOOMINGTON >> Two men were arrested this week after deputies allegedly found drugs and a submachine gun at a home while serving a search warrant as part of a rape investigation.
On May 8, a woman reported she was sexually assaulted at a Bloomington home in the 18700 block of Fifth Street, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s officials said in a written statement.
Deputies assigned to the Fontana station secured a search warrant for the home.
During the search Wednesday, they found a submachine gun, several pounds of marijuana, methamphetamine, cocaine packaged for sales and currency related to drug sales, officials said.

A 5-year-old boy was in the house while deputies conducted the search.
Alejandro Martinez, 30, and Victor Villareal, 25, both of Bloomington, were arrested and booked into West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga. Martinez, a convicted felon with prior drug and weapons violations, was booked for suspicion of possession of narcotics for sales, possession of firearm by a felon and child endangerment.
Villareal was booked for suspicion of possession of narcotics for sales.
The boy was turned over to family members.
