Deputies in Phelan were asking for help Monday in locating a miniature horse stolen from a rural home.
“Runner” a 21-year-old registered miniature horse was taken last Monday from the 7600 block of Luna Road in Phelan, according to a new release from the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department’s Victor Valley Station.
There were two sightings of a man holding the horse in the bed of a small or mid-sized pickup truck fleeing in the direction of Adelanto, the release stated.
“Runner” is black in color, approximately 150 pounds and stands 34 inches tall, according to sheriff’s officials.
