Crestline, CA -”Honoring the Past – Embracing the Future” is the theme of a community BBQ commemorating the service and the rich history of the Crest Forest Fire Department (1929). The event — to be staged Saturday, June 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — will be held at Fire Station 25 (23407 Crest Forest Drive in Crestline).
THE EVENT
The BBQ will feature brats and polish sausage and hot dogs. There will be music, fun and a look at the history of the department that becomes part of San Bernardino County Fire on July 1.
Former employees, fire chiefs, board members and volunteers have been invited along with members of the community to help salute the Crest Forest Fire Department.
