APPLE VALLEY Southern Spirit to take stage Thursday night

Locally acclaimed country and rock group Southern Spirit will bring its brand of up-tempo tunes and solid harmonies to the Town of Apple Valley's Sunset Concert Series from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Apple Valley Civic Center Amphitheater.

The series features food vendors, a beer garden, live music and dancing. Concert goers may bring blankets or portable chairs.

Civic Center Amphitheater is at 14999 Dale Evans Parkway in Apple Valley. Admission is free.
