Electro house group The Chainsmokers are set to return to the National Orange Show in August, headlining the Insomniac produced We Are NRG event. Known for its catchy song “#Selfie,” the New York City duo of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart last performed at the San Bernardino venue on Feb. 14 as part of the Valentine’s Day-themed event, Crush.
The Chainsmokers’ performance this time around, set for 6 p.m. Aug. 8, will be joined by dance music acts Dallask, Firebeatz, Kryder, Nom De Strip, Project 46 and Vinai.

In Devore metal masters Slipknot are back with the latest installment of its Knotfest music festival with none other than, of course — plenty of metal bands.
Knotfest is scheduled for Oct. 24-25 at the San Manuel Amphitheater in Devore.
The Knotfest lineup on Oct. 24 is set to include Judas Priest, Korn, Mastodon, Trivium, Corrosion of Conformity with a special guest, At The Gates, Body Count, Red Fang, GWAR and more.

For the last night, Oct. 25, bands set to perform include Slipknot, Bring Me The Horizon, Clutch, Ghostface Killah, Mobb Keep, Suicidal Tendencies, All That Remains, Cannibal Corpse, Helmet and more.
Besides metal acts, there’s also some legendary hip-hop acts from Ghostface Killah to Mobb Deep as well as attractions, including a Slipknot-curated museum, a Thunderdome fighting area featuring actual matches, a ring of fire carnival ride and flaming carnival games.
