INLAND EMPIRE The deaths of two people in a spectacular crash at the top of Riverside’s Box Springs Grade capped a tragic weekend on the region’s highways. A man and woman perished and two other people were hurt when their vehicle rolled off the 215 freeway and through a chain link fence. It overturned and crashed into a travel trailer in an RV sales lot. Two survivors suffered critical injuries. Near Perris on the I-215, Zechariah Robinson, 21, of Jurupa Valley perished when his motorcycle crashed early Sunday. In San Bernardino County, there were no witnesses to a hit-and-run incident below Lytle Creek. The coroner said that a transient, Jennifer Stoops, 35, was found dead on the shoulder of Lytle Creek Road. A rear-end collision on Interstate 15 just south of the Nevada state line claimed the life of Fita Lopez, 51, of Irvine.
