A 27-year-old Adelanto man was arrested for attempting to trade Disneyland tickets for sex with who he thought was a 14-year-old girl. According to the Orange County District Attorney’s press release, the man was contacted by undercover Huntington Beach Police posing as a 14-year-old girl in order to set up a meeting at a Beach Boulevard location in Huntington Beach for the exchange.
The man, identified as Darreck Michael Enciso, a now former Disneyland Employee, posted a Craigslist ad on July 1, 2015 seeking the exchange of “services” for Disneyland tickets. When Enciso showed up at the planned meeting location he was arrested. Enciso upon arrest was found to have condoms as well as the agreed Disneyland tickets in his possession.
The press release also stated that he was charged with three felony counts including attempted lewd act with a child, contacting a child with intent to commit a specified sex crime and meeting a minor with the intent to engage in lewd conduct Enciso faces up to 4 years and 8 months and lifetime registration as a sex offender if convicted of all charges. The district attorney’s office is requesting $100,000 bail.
