SAN BERNARDINO> Two men were arrested for the homicide of Richard Ramirez, 25, resident of San Bernardino, in an apartment complex located at 4190 N. Sepulveda Avenue. On April 18, officers were dispatched to an apartment complex regarding a shooting. They located the victim down in the living room of an apartment with an apparent gunshot wound. Richard Ramirez was transported to St. Bernadine’s hospital where he was pronounced dead. Two suspects were identified as Lawrence Kennedy, 26, and James Khone, 61, both residents of San Bernadino. James Khone was an acquaintance of the victim and they had been involved in a dispute prior to the shooting. Lawrence Kennedy was arrested on July 10, in the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Street, and on James Khone was arrested on July 14 in the 3400 block of E Street.
