SAN BERNARDINO - Rewards totaling $75,000 > be on the lookout

SAN BERNARDINO - Rewards totaling $75,000 are being offered for information about those who were flying drones, or UAV's, near three recent wildfires. County Supervisors approved the reward money Tuesday and echoed the concerns of fire officials who were forced to briefly suspend air attacks on the fires fearing a potential mid-air collision. Since the first incident June 24th during the Lake Fire near Barton Flats, the US Forest Service has issued numerous warnings that so-called 'hobby drones' must stay clear of no-fly zones. More recently, drones were seen as the North Fire spread from the I-15 freeway in Cajon Pass into the community of Baldy Mesa.
