FONTANA - Officers are seeking your assistance in locating an armed and dangerous suspect who shot his mother's new boyfriend early Saturday morning. Tajh Hurley, 24, from Escondido, was visiting his mother's residence on the 7800 block of El Dorado Street for a family function. Hurley got into an argument with the victim at the location and pulled out a handgun. Hurley shot the victim three times at close range. Hurley fled the location in an unknown direction on foot. The victim did not suffer life-threatening injuries. He was transported to the hospital, treated and released. Hurley was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, red socks with marijuana leaves pictured on them and carrying a gray backpack. He took the handgun with him and is believed to be armed. He relies on public transportation to get around. He has grown out his hair since the picture and has an Afro hairstyle. He has a very visible tattoo on his neck. Hurley faces a charge for attempted homicide.
