A 60-year-old Redlands truck driver has pleaded not guilty to sexually abusing a girl for almost a year, court records show.
Rickey Lee Singleton was video arraigned last Thursday in San Bernardino Superior Court and entered a not-guilty plea on two counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child age 14 or younger, according to the District Attorney’s Office criminal complaint on the case.
The complaint indicates the alleged sexual abuse began on Jan. 1, 2013, and continued until Dec. 31 of that same year.
Singleton was arrested July 29 at the Redlands police station, booking records show.
The relationship between the girl and Singleton was not immediately clear. Police also did not release when they were first alerted to the alleged abuse or if they believe there may be additional victims.
Singleton was being held on $150,000 bail at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.
He is scheduled to be in San Bernardino Superior Court on Aug. 11 for a preliminary hearing.
