A Special Olympics athlete from Ivory Coast who walked away from his team’s Inglewood hotel Monday night was still missing Wednesday.
Abidjan Ouattara, 24, was last seen at 11 p.m. Monday when he left the Adventurer Hotel at 4200 W. Century Blvd. and did not return, police said.
Inglewood police provided no updates Wednesday on the search for him.
Ouattara was the third competitor in the just-concluded Special Olympics World Games to go missing from Los Angeles. The other two were located.
Ouattara is black, 5 feet 6 inches tall, and has a medium build and dark complexion. He wears glasses and his left arm is physically impaired at the hand. He speaks only French.
He was last seen wearing a light blue zip-up athletic jacket with an orange T-shirt, white trousers and sandals.
