Police search for missing San Bernardino woman suffering from Alzheimer’s

SAN BERNARDINO >> A 78-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s remained missing Friday evening, police said.

Dorothy Marie Mabe, 78, who also suffers from dementia, walked away from a friends home in the 1500 block of west 15th Street Thursday night and has yet to return.

She was last seen wearing a neon pink top, blue pants and white shoes, police said in a news release.

Police say Mabe becomes easily disoriented as a result of her disease.
