A 29-year-old San Bernardino man is that city’s 20th murder victim of the year. Dshion Williams was found mortally wounded late Friday night on North Sepulveda Avenue. Police say he’d been shot several times.
A collision at a Riverside intersection Friday killed one of the drivers. Police say that a pickup truck broadsided a car on Colorado Avenue at Jackson Street. The identity of the 69-year-old fatality was not immediately released.
Tire failure has been blamed for a deadly car crash on Interstate 15 east of Barstow. The driver, Helen Sanchez, 21, of Palmdale, was killed when she lost control causing the vehicle to overturn several times Thursday night.

An early morning crash at the Moreno Valley (60-215) interchange claimed the life of a Moreno Valley motorist. The California Highway Patrol says that Dwight Howard, Jr's car veered off the freeway and onto an embankment where it struck a concrete divider. A passenger survived.
Nearly 62,000 voters are eligible to cast ballots in Tuesday’s special districts election in Riverside County. The election includes the High Valleys Water District, Idyllwild Water District, Pine Cove Water District, Rancho California Water District and is not a countywide election. It is also an all mail ballot election, so there will be no established polling places.
Riverside City Manager John Russo has directed that all anti-harassment training for city employees be conducted in a live, classroom setting instead of in a combination of live and online training. Russo reasoned the seriousness of harassment in the workplace requires the stepped up live training beginning Tuesday.
