SAN BERNARDINO >> Police are investigating the shooting of a man as he sat in a car in the parking lot of a downtown motel Friday night.
The man was in his car shortly before 9 p.m. at the Golden Star Inn, 668 W. Fifth St., when he was apparently shot twice in the abdomen, police said.
He was rushed by a private party to St. Bernardine Medical Center before he was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton.
Police said the man, who remained unidentified, was listed in stable condition. No suspects have been identified.
