Powwow at Morongo Casino among things to do this weekend in the Inland Valley

Latino Americans - 500 Years of History Grant

Upland Library will be hosting the Latino Baseball Exhibit, on loan from the Pfau Library at CSUSB. The kickoff event will take place at 1 p.m. Sept. 26 at Carnegie Cultural Center and will feature a panel hosted by Marc Ocegueda (UC Irvine) and baseball players profiled in the exhibit, which explores the history of Latino baseball players in the Inland Empire. Collectors Street Faire

Treasure hunters are invited to explore three blocks of antique vendors consisting of part flea market, part festival and part open house. George Burns tribute

A nostalgic remembrance of comedian George Burns will be offered at 4 p.m. Sept. 26 by Broadway and film actor Duffy Hudson in a one-man musical comedy program. The free program will be in the Bing Wong Auditorium at the Feldheym Central Library at 555 W. 6th St., San Bernardino. Hudson tours the U.S. with his one-man shows of Edgar Allan Poe, Albert Einstein, George Burns, Dr. Seuss, and “A Christmas Carol.” Information: www.sbpl.org

Thank A Police Officer Day

Fontana will celebrate National Thank a Police Officer Day from 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 26 at George’s Sierra Shell gas station, 9684 Sierra Ave. The celebration will include a display of SWAT vehicles, a K-9 demonstration and music from the Kaiser High School Band.
