Three residents of San Bernardino are arrested on multiple charges including possession of a sawed o

On September 23, 2015, at approximately 9:02 a.m., Central Station Deputies responded to a call regarding suspicious persons on private property. Deputies identified a vehicle at 3919 Acapulco St. (Muscoy) and began an investigation. Two persons later identified as Jose Luis Perez, 27, and Jim Andrew Urban, 21, both of San Bernardino were located and contacted. The subjects gave deputies false identifying information, and were subsequently identified and found to be on felony probation.

During the investigation a search was conducted at the residence occupied by two of the suspects. During the search Jeremy Martinez, 26, was located hiding under a bed and in possession of a machete. Also within a few feet of Martinez' location, deputies located a sawed off, modified .22 caliber rifle, loaded with an illegal extended high capacity magazine. Additionally deputies located evidence of identity theft, stolen property, and drug paraphernalia.

The suspects were arrested and booked at the Central Detention Center for several felony, drug, property, weapons charges and Felony PRCS probation violations. Felony PRCS Release was created as a result of California Assembly Bill 109 (AB109).

As part of Governor Jerry Brown's Prison Realignment Plan, or Assembly Bill 109, to comply with a U.S. Supreme Court Decision requiring the state to lower its prison population; offenders with non-violent, non-sexual and non-serious convictions will serve reduced sentences in county jails and be placed on local supervision through county Probation.
