Fontana police arrested four teen boys after they shot paintballs into a crowd of children and parents at a soccer practice Monday night hitting one girl in the face. The group reportedly began shooting into the crowd at Koehler Park, 15352 Walnut St, just after 8 p.m., according to police officials. Several people were struck, including a 9-year-old girl, according to a police statement. She suffered only minor injuries. The foursome drove off in a black Cadillac Escalade. Officers were able to track down the four and arrested them. During the investigation, officers learned the teens had also shot paintball rounds at houses, vehicles and public signs in the neighborhood near the park, police said. All four were booked into juvenile hall on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy. The ages of the teens were not immediately available.
