Family of man suffering from Alzheimer's disease lost in Fontana found

FONTANA, Calif.

The family of a 67-year-old man, who has Alzheimer's disease and was lost in Fontana, has been found, thanks to the help of ABC7 viewers. On Monday, a Good Samaritan from Ontario picked up Hugo Cisneros and drove him to Fontana after he indicated that he may live in the area.

The Good Samaritan then flagged down an officer once they arrived in Fontana and asked for assistance with Cisneros. Authorities said Cisneros did not know his address or where he is from. Officers have been unsuccessful in locating Cisneros' family. He is currently in the care of social services and appears to be in good health. Anyone who recognized Cisneros was asked to call the Fontana Police Department. A viewer saw our ABC7 Facebook post on Cisneros and contacted Cisneros' nephew.
