Best, worst 'foodie' cities ranked

INLAND EMPIRE Three of the region’s largest cities rank among the nation’s worst for getting the best food for the buck. The personal finance website WalletHub used 18 yardsticks ranging from the cost of groceries to the number of restaurants per capita in ranking the nation’s 150 largest cities. Ontario, Fontana and Moreno Valley wound up among the ten worst ‘foodie’ cities for your wallet. The nation’s five most affordable culinary cities were Portland, Oregon, Orlando, San Francisco, Oakland and Seattle. Santa Rosa also scored in the top ten.
