(Apple Valley)– Due to the Happy Trails Parade, all Victor Valley Transit Authority buses operating in Apple Valley will not service the Apple Valley Post Office on Saturday, October 17, 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. VVTA Routes 23, 40, 41, 43, and 47 will transfer at the Rite Aid on North Outer Hwy 18 at Navajo Road. Routes will detour as follows:
ROUTE 23: from northbound on Central at Powhatan, Route 23 will continue straight to a left on Inner Hwy 18, right on Quinnault, and a quick left onto N. Outer Hwy 18, and stop on N. Outer Hwy 18 at Navajo, in front of the Rite Aid. Route 23 will then turn left on Navajo, left on Inner Hwy 18, right on Central, and continue regular route.
ROUTE 40: from southbound on Pawnee, Route 40 will turn right onto N. Outer Hwy 18 and stop on N. Outer Hwy 18 at Navajo, in front of the Rite Aid. Route 40 will then turn left on Navajo, left on Inner Hwy 18, left on Pawnee, and continue regular route.
ROUTE 41: from eastbound on Inner Hwy 18 at Navajo, Route 41 will continue straight to a left on Quinnault, a quick left on N. Outer Hwy 18, and stop on N. Outer Hwy 18 at Navajo, in front of the Rite Aid. Route 41 will then continue regular route on N. Outer Hwy 18.
ROUTE 43: from northbound on Navajo, Route 43 will continue straight to a right on Inner Hwy 18, a left on Quinnault, a quick left on N. Outer Hwy 18, and stop on N. Outer Hwy 18 at Navajo, in front of the Rite Aid. Route 43 will then turn left on Navajo, left on Inner Hwy 18, right on Central, and continue regular route.
ROUTE 47: from eastbound on Yucca Loma, Route 47 will turn right on Navajo, left on Ottawa, left on Central, left on Inner Hwy 18, right on Quinnault, a quick left on N. Outer Hwy, and stop on N. Outer Hwy 18 at Navajo, in front of the Rite Aid. Route 47 will then turn left on Navajo, a right on Yucca Loma, and continue regular route.
Bus Stops not accessible: On Powhatan at Navajo (Park) and on Quinnault at Hwy 18 (AV Post Office).
