Cal Fire San Bernardino firefighters responded to several fires due to the lightning, officials said. The vegetation fires sparked in the areas of Big Bear, Arrowhead, Running Springs, Wrightwood, and Highland.googleoff: allgoogleon: all
Throughout San Bernardino and Riverside counties, rainfall totals overnight were less than .55 inches. In San Bernardino county, .55 inches of rain was reported in the San Bernardino County Yard and about half an inch was reported in Phelan. In Riverside County, western Moreno Valley got the most rain. .44 inches fell in the Pigeon Pass Dam area.
