FONTANA >> Fontana Police are searching for a man who reportedly attacked a woman at a salon and robbed the business late last week, officials said.
The assault and theft was captured on surveillance video, and it shows the man entering the business in the 16700 block of Foothill Boulevard on Oct. 15 around 7:30 p.m. and demanding the female employee give him money from the cash register, according to a police statement.
The unidentified man then punched the woman several times before taking off with cash.
The extent of her injuries were not clear.

The fleeing man is described as black, about 5-foot-9-inches and weighing about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue pants.
