VICTORVILLE Several shooting suspects have been detained following a 3:05 a.m. Monday morning shooting at the Sherwood Villa apartments located at 14900 Arlette Drive in Victorville. One person was reported shot and people, most in dark clothing, were reported to run in all directions.
The suspects described as black male adults were reported to have headed to the back of the complex where deputies witnessed a silver 4-door vehicle fleeing the scene. The silver vehicle let the passenger out of the vehicle where he fled on foot and was quickly detained by on scene deputies.
At this time it is believed that there are multiple crime scenes and the suspects may have been involved in a previous assault with a deadly weapon. Shell casings have been located at the Northwest area of the apartment complex. Three subjects that have been detained and are being questioned by Victorville deputies as of 3:30 a.m. Two weapons were also located including a 9mm and a 40mm handgun.
