PALM SPRINGS - Longtime Coachella Valley journalist Gloria Greer will be remembered at a special Celebration of Life. It's scheduled for November 30th at the Camelot Theater. Ms. Greer covered the “Stars of the Desert” for more than 50 years, first for Variety Magazine and then for a host of local news organizations and feature publications. Speakers at Monday's ceremony Speakers will include Frank Jones, publisher of Palm Springs Life Magazine, Ric Supple, the long-time owner of RR Broadcasting, and news anchor Karen Devine. Ms. Greer passed away Oct. 30 after a long battle with cancer. She was 87.
