SAN BERNARDINO >> Police evacuated a Walgreens store for a short time Tuesday after a threat was made, but business was soon back to normal.
Police spokesman Lt. Rich Lawhead said the store at 40th Street and Sierra Way was evacuated.
An unidentified person had called the store and said there was a bomb inside the building, police said.
Officers arrived on scene and began evacuation procedures, Lawhead said. A witness said the evacuations occurred around 3:30 p.m.
Once everyone was out of the building, police searched high and low. No explosive device was ever found.
