Apple Valley man arrested for allegedly having sex with minor

SAN BERNARDINO >> An Apple Valley man was arrested Wednesday afternoon for allegedly having sexual relations with a 15-year-old girl, police said.
Police said the father of the victim arrived home at about 4 p.m. and found his daughter having consensual sex with a 20-year-old man at an apartment complex near Palm Avenue and Kendall Drive in San Bernardino.
The suspect fled on foot and was later caught hiding in a nearby drainage ditch, police said. He was arrested on suspicion of statutory rape.
No further information about the suspect was available.
