SAN BERNARDINO - The city’s road to healing from years of financial trouble and political rife is taking a new turn in the wake of Wednesday’s mass killings. It began Thursday evening with a vigil for the community and for those killed and wounded at the Inland Regional Center. The vigil at the San Manuel baseball stadium at 280 South ‘E’ Street began at 6pm. Police Chief Jarrod Burguan said his city "will survive this. We are resilient." Vigils were held at two churches in the area.
