Adelanto dog and cat owners will have two more opportunities this year to get their pets licensed and vaccinated through September, with the next being June 18 at Adelanto City Hall, 11600 Air Expressway.
A clinic 9 a.m. to noon will offer free microchips to the first 100 Adelanto residents in attendance.
Shots for dogs run $7 to $20, while shots for cats run $7 to $25.
To have a dog vaccinated, pet owners must also purchase a dog license the same day, which are sold separately.
License fees are $20 annually for spayed and neutered dogs and $70 annually for unaltered dogs.
For senior citizens and the disabled, fees for altered and unaltered dogs are $10 and $50 a year, respectively.
