Pacific Electric Weekend: A ride into the past on the Big Red Cars of the Pacific Electric on June 18-19 at the Orange Empire Railway Museum. This is the weekend when the museum will have the largest group of selected Pacific Electric cars to ride and photograph. On June 19 there will be a family barbecue from noon – 2 p.m. The menu will include barbecue chicken, smoked sausage, apple baked barbecue beans, bacon wrapped roasted stuffed peppers, coleslaw, potatoes, roll and a fancy cupcake. Reservations are required. Cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children. Admission to the museum grounds are free, regular prices apply for train and trolley rides.
