Frontier reps ready to meet with customers at July 12 County Supervisors’ meeting Frontier Communications representatives will be on hand to meet with the public during Tuesday’s San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors hearing on Frontier Communications’ ongoing service problems. “Local seniors and disabled residents have lost phone service – and their connection to 911 and medic alert service,” said Board of Supervisors Vice Chairman Robert A. Lovingood, who called for the July 12 hearing on Frontier. “We have also heard from business owners who have lost their ability to process credit cards, choking off their business operations. And others have complained of sporadic phone service, incredibly slow Internet service, billing and customer service problems.” At 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, Frontier representatives will be available at the Jerry Lewis High Desert Government Center, 15900 Smoke Tree St., 2nd Floor in Hesperia and at the County Government Center at 385 N. Arrowhead Avenue in San Bernardino. The July 12 Board meeting starts at 10 a.m. but it is not yet known exactly when the Frontier hearing will begin. A Frontier executive is scheduled to address the Board of Supervisors. The public is also welcome to speak during the comment period. The Supervisor is encouraging First District residents who are still having problems with their Frontier service to send a summary to Supervisor Robert Lovingood, 12474 Cottonwood Ave., Suite A, Victorville, CA 92395 or via email to SupervisorLovingood@SBCounty.gov. Inconsistent service has been widespread following Frontier Communications’ April 1 acquisition of Verizon operations in California, Texas and Florida. Frontier has blamed the problems on corrupt data inherited from Verizon. Frontier previously said the company expected to resolve issues by May 29 ( in what year )
