GAS DROPS TO $2.25 PER GALLON IN INLAND EMPIRE

California gasoline prices remain well above the national average, but motorists have seen some relief at the pump this week with prices falling faster in the Golden State than anywhere else in the country.

California is doing a double-take at the gas prices of $2.25 per gallon in Southern California. How long will it last! Prices of $2.25 per gallon at Five-Point Auto Service in Grand Terrace was quite remarkable, seeing that one year ago the average price in the Inland Empire around the same time was $3.76 per gallon. The Automobile Club of Southern California said a glut in production is to thank for the low prices. "Refiners really built up their stocks, and even though we've had increased demand, we have a lot of gas right now.
