The city is seeking as many Victorville veterans as possible to honor during its Veterans Day Ceremony on Nov. 11 as part of a 'Salute to Victorville Veterans.' The recognition will include a slideshow and names in the commemorative event program. Community members who wish to nominate veterans in the city for inclusion in the program can submit Veteran Information Forms to the city by Oct. 15 and will be available online at VictorvilleCa.gov. The forms can be completed by veterans themselves, family or friends. The only requirement for veterans to be recognized in the Nov. 11 ceremony is that they have lived in Victorville at some point in their life.
