Dad arrested after Loma Linda family dispute involving gun

A 62-year-old Loma Linda man landed in jail after a family dispute between him and a son who deputies say was threatened with a gun.

Arthur T. Lowe was arrested at 8:47 a.m. Wednesday in the 26700 block of King Edwards Drive and booked for investigation of family violence and assault with a deadly weapon, jail records show.

Deputies were summoned about an hour earlier to stop a fight in the front yard of a house.

“The fight was a domestic violence disturbance between Lowe and his adult son who also lives at the location,” investigators said in a written statement. “The weapon used during the crime was located, as well as... a rifle, a shotgun and a large amount of ammunition.”

The weapons were confiscated.
