SAN BERNARDINO >> The skies above San Bernardino International Airport roared with the sound of aircraft Saturday as the SBD Fest returned for the second year.
The air show offered plenty of family fun with static aircraft displays, military aircraft and aerial acts, including the popular Patriot Jets.

There were also aisles of vintage and classic cars, street rods and trucks to admire. A concert starring headliner Thompson Square entertained the crowd.
The SB Strong Plane Pull honored the brave and selfless acts displayed by New York City firefighters on the eve of the 15th anniversary of 9/11 as well as those of their San Bernardino brothers and sisters on Dec. 2.
SBD Fest organizers and partners planned the event as a way to bring the community together in a meaningful way, showcase SBIA and fondly remember the days when the facility served as Norton Air Force Base.
