Authorities seek public's help locating missing Hesperia man


HESPERIA — Officials are seeking the public’s help in locating a 46-year-old man who was last seen two weeks ago.

Luis Salazar, 46, of Hesperia, was reported missing to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Hesperia Station on Sept. 8. Salazar’s family reported to have last seen him Sept. 2 at his residence in Hesperia.

On Sunday, Salazar’s vehicle was located on Forest Service Road 2N49 near State Highway 138 and Sawpit Canyon Road in Lake Silverwood.

According to officials, no indication of foul play was found in or around Salazar's vehicle and he is considered a voluntary missing. However, his family is concerned since he has not returned home.
