SAN BERNARDINO >> A man was seriously wounded in a shooting early Friday morning on F Street in San Bernardino, and police are searching for the shooter.
The victim, described only as being in his 30s, was shot around 2:30 a.m. when he walked up to a vehicle that had pulled over in the 1000 block of F Street, said Sgt. Vicki Cervantes of the San Bernardino Police Department.
The person sitting in the vehicle fired on the man and drove off, she said.
The wounded man was taken to a hospital where he is expected to survive.
It’s unclear if the men knew each other or if this may be a road-rage incident, Cervantes said.
A description of the vehicle or the shooter was not immediately available.
