A vehicle that caught fire early Tuesday in the Apple Valley area was later found to be stolen, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said.
The fire occurred about 1:40 a.m. Tuesday near Kiowa Road and Roundup Way south of Apple Valley, a sheriff’s news release said. Authorities contacted the owner, a resident of Victorville, who did not know his 2015 Nissan sedan had been stolen.
No suspects have been identified, the release said.
